Free Canadian Neighborhood Insights & Demographics

Click any spot on the map above - or search a Canadian address - to see Census 2021 statistics for that exact dissemination area: population, household income, dwelling types, education, immigration, commute patterns and nearby schools. All free, all sourced from Statistics Canada.

    About the data

Every report is built from the 2021 Census of Population published by Statistics Canada - the most comprehensive demographic dataset available for Canadian neighborhoods. We aggregate population, household, dwelling, education, immigration and commute variables down to the dissemination-area level.

A Dissemination Area (DA) typically covers 400–700 people and is the smallest standard geographic unit Statistics Canada publishes. That granularity lets you compare a single block to its surrounding city - useful when researching a property, a strata or a prospective neighborhood.
